Read this before submitting information or relying on a Civic Guard finding.
Civic Guard is not an emergency service and is not represented as a statutory Czech whistleblower channel. Statutory protection depends on the law and your circumstances. We cannot promise protection from retaliation, legal privilege, confidentiality against every lawful demand, or anonymity in all circumstances.
Minimise names and sensitive details. Do not submit information you are not authorised to share, passwords, access tokens, malware, or unnecessary third-party personal data. A report is an unverified allegation until corroborated; submission does not guarantee review, investigation, referral, publication, a deadline, or a legal outcome.
Machine flags and risk scores only prioritise records for human review. They do not establish guilt, unlawfulness, credibility, admissibility, or liability and must not be used for an adverse decision.
Reports, reporter identity, contact details, and submitted files remain in restricted workflows. Only an independently reviewed and minimised public finding may be published, with material uncertainty stated and restricted source information excluded.
A person concerned may use the dedicated right-of-reply capability supplied to them. Anyone may request correction by identifying the finding and the specific claimed factual error. Responses remain separate from analyst commentary.
Substantiated errors can produce a versioned correction. Urgent safety or serious-error cases can be withdrawn, and findings expire when mandatory re-review is not completed. Public notices remain visible so history is not silently rewritten.
Depending on the controller, jurisdiction, basis, and applicable exceptions, you may request information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object. Proportionate identity verification may be required. Some information cannot be disclosed where that would harm another person's rights, reveal a protected source, prejudice a lawful process, or conflict with an obligation or legal claim.
Retention is data-class-specific; not every record is kept for the same period. A narrowly scoped legal hold or legal obligation may pause deletion but does not permit a new use. The controller and role allocation must be identified for each actual deployment.
